ResultsIn the final meet prior to the ECAC/IC4A Championship this coming weekend, members of the Fordham track & field team took their final shot at qualifying for the Championship at the Swarthmore Final Qualifier in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania.

Two of the Rams' six competitors succeeded in that endeavor, led by senior
Lester Taylor, who finished second in the 800 meter run in a season-best and IC4A Qualifying time of 1:49.95.

Brian Cook, who had already qualified for the IC4A Championship, bettered his qualifying time in the 3,000 meter steeplechase by taking fifth in 9:12.44.

Thomas Slattery just missed qualifying in the 5,000 meter run, as he clocked in with a season-best time of 14:34.84, which was good for second place.

Nicholas Regan was the last men's competitor, as he placed fourth in the javelin throw with a distance of 180' 7".

On the women's side,
Danielle Rowe and
Shanna Heaney competed in the 800 meter run, where Rowe placed 11
th in 2:12.53, while Heaney was 15
th in 2:15.00.

Next up for the Rams is the ECAC/IC4A Championship, which will be held, May 16-17, at Princeton University.
