Jim McElderry announced the team's 2015 schedule today, as the team begins defense of its Atlantic 10 Championship of a year ago.
The schedule features a weekend trip to Chicago, eight home games, and an eight-game conference slate.
The Rams begin their 2015 schedule at the friendly confines of Jack Coffey Field, where Fordham hosts Boston University at 7:00 PM.
Fordham then has their first major road trip of the year, as the Rams head off to the Windy City of Chicago for a pair of contests. The Rams will face Loyola Chicago on September 4
th, while taking on DePaul on September 6
th.
The rest of the non-conference slate is a six-game split of home and away contests. Fordham will visit Lafayette (Sept. 12), Fairfield (Sept. 19), and Lehigh (Sept. 29), while hosting Army West Point (Sept. 16), Columbia (Sept. 23), and NJIT (Sept. 26).
Atlantic 10 action begins on October 3
rd, as the Rams host La Salle at Jack Coffey Field in the first of eight league games. Fordham will also host NCAA Tournament participant Saint Louis (Oct. 17
th), George Mason (Oct. 25), and Dayton (Oct. 31).
For road games, Fordham will be traveling to Davidson (Oct. 7), Duquesne (Oct. 10), Rhode Island (Oct. 21), and Massachusetts (Nov. 7).
The Atlantic 10 Championship will be held, November 11-14, at George Mason in Fairfax, Virginia.
In addition to the regular season schedule, Fordham will have three exhibition contests on August 16
th at Hofstra, August 20
th at Seton Hall, and August 23
rd at Jack Coffey Field against LIU-Post.
