INDIANAPOLIS -- Winners of three straight Atlantic 10 Championships and four in five seasons, the Fordham softball team (36-18, 17-5 A-10) makes its fifth trip to the NCAA Division I Softball Championship in six years and will travel to Harrisonburg, Va. to participate in the Harrisonburg Regional, hosted by No. 15 overall seed James Madison (47-8, 19-0 CAA), at Veterans Memorial Park. The Harrisonburg Regional will take place from May 15-17. At the bottom is a list of game times.

The Rams, who are the third seed in the regional, are slated to play second-seeded North Carolina State (35-20, 13-8 ACC). Fordham fell to the Wolfpack, 5-0, back on March 15 at the N.C. State Hyatt Place Invitational in Raleigh, N.C. The Dukes are the one seed and host fourth-seeded Binghamton (24-19, 10-6 America East), a team the Rams defeated, 6-4, also at the Wolfpack's tournament in Raleigh.

Friday's winners will square off in Saturday's first of three games, while Friday's two losers will face off in an elimination game later that night. The loser of Saturday's first game will take on the winner of the day's second game in an elimination game later Saturday night. The winner of Saturday's final game will take on the winner of the day's first game on Sunday with an if necessary rematch scheduled for later on Sunday.

The winner of this weekend's regional will advance to the NCAA Super Regional round against the winner of the Eugene Regional the following weekend with an ultimate goal of reaching the Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City.

Fordham is looking to advance to the Super Regionals for the first time in school history and its first regional final since 2010 when the Rams lost to Oklahoma at the College Park Regional in Maryland, which was the program's first NCAA Tournament. The Rams played at the University Park Regional (Penn State) in 2011, the Norman Regional (Oklahoma) in 2013, and the Tallahassee Regional (Florida State) in 2014. Fordham has not won a regional game since defeating Marist, 5-3, in 2013.

The Rams are peaking at the right time, having won a season-high 11 games in a row, 14 of 15 and 19 of 21.

Ticket-wise, all-session books are $25 and single-day tickets are $10 per person. Children 5 & under are free and all seating is general admission
