Second Round ResultsHARMONY, Fla. -- The Fordham men's golf team shot its second-best score of the spring season with an 11-over-par 299 in Saturday's second round of the Atlantic 10 Championships at the par-72 Harmony Golf Preserve. The Rams moved up to 10th place with a score of 606 (307-299). VCU is currently the two-round leader with a 572 (286-286).
Senior
Ben Alcorn continues to lead Fordham and shot one stroke lower with a 1-over-par 73 to sit with a 3-over-par 147 (74-73). Freshman
Joe Trim also shot a stroke better with a 3-over-par 75 to score a 7-over-par 151 (76-75), while sophomore
Oscar Cabanas improved by five strokes to shoot a 2-over-par 74 to finish with a 153 (79-74).
Rounding out the scoring for the Rams was seniors
Drew Dufresne and
Jeff Hogan, as the duo each carded 5-over-par 77's. Durfesne sits at 155 (78-77), while Hogan is two strokes behind at 157 (80-77).
Fordham concludes the tournament Sunday with the third and final round.
