St. Bonaventure has a slim lead following the second day of action with 232 points, followed by Massachusetts with 224.5. George Mason is in third with 185 points, with La Salle (181), Davidson (145), Saint Louis (121.5), Fordham (110.5), and George Washington (99.5).
The first scoring event on day two was the 500 freestyle, where
Liam Semple qualified for the "A" final. The Freshman made the most of his first final, as he placed fifth overall in a school record time of 4:28.24, breaking
Steve Sholdra's mark of 4:29.50, set earlier this season at the Bucknell Invitational.
In the 200 individual medley, freshman
Chris Viera was the Rams' top finisher in the preliminaries, finishing 22
nd overall in a personal-best time of 1:53.32, while senior
Kevin Kosciuk was 24
th in 1:53.64.

200 freestyle relay (Atlantic 10) Next up was the 50 freestyle, where the Rams had two swimmers in the finals. First, sophomore
Joe Mercurio won the "B" final to earn ninth overall in a time of 20.58 seconds, while in the "A" final,
Thomas Shetler tied for seventh, as he clocked in at 20.93 seconds.
The final event on day two was the 200 freestyle relay, where Fordham's team of Shetler, Mercurio,
John Furlong, and
Patrick Militti earned fifth place in a season-best time of 1:22.36.
The Championship continues on Friday at 10:00 AM with preliminaries in 400 individual medley, 100 butterfly, 200 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, and 100 backstroke events with the finals at 6:30 PM.
