After day one of competition, the Fordham women are in sixth place out of 11 teams, while the men are seventh out of eight teams.

Courtesy of five divers making the finals of the women's one-meter event, Massachusetts leads the women's championship with 139 points, followed by Richmond (101), La Salle (78), Davidson (69), Duquesne (64), Fordham (60), George Mason (54), Saint Louis (44), Rhode Island (42), St. Bonaventure (38), and George Washington (14).

The night opened with the women's 200 medley relay, where Fordham earned Second Team All-Atlantic 10 honors, as
Morgan Fairclough,
Kelly Carroll,
Shannon Lulley, and
Chandler Lulley took second place in a season-best time of 1:41.76.

Then in the 800 freestyle relay, the Rams placed sixth overall, with
Kalena Laurent,
Megan Gray,
Erin McBride, and
Megan Zarriello posting a season-best time of 7:27.83.

In the men's competition, St. Bonaventure and Massachusetts are tied at the top with 74 points each, followed by George Mason (62), Davidson (56), George Washington (54), La Salle (50), Fordham (48), and Saint Louis (32).

In the 200 medley relay, Fordham's group of
J.T. Klimko,
John Furlong,
Joe Mercurio, and
Thomas Shetler finished seventh in a time of 1:31.71, while in the 800 freestyle relay,
Liam Semple,
Steve Sholdra,
Chris Viera, and
Patrick Militti also took seventh in 6:44.75. Â Both times were the team's best this season.

Day two of the championship gets underway with preliminary action on Thursday at 10:00 AM with finals action at 6:30 PM.
