Titi Fagade Named Zipcar Performer of the Month

Bronx, N.Y. (February 12, 2015) – After earning Women's Indoor Track & Field Co-Performer of the Week twice in the past month, senior Titi Fagade has been named the Fordham Athletics Zipcar Performer of the Month.
 
Fagade won her first Atlantic 10 Women's Indoor Track & Field Co-Performer of the Week honor on January 13 after running twice during the holiday break.  At the Boston University Mini-Meet, she broke the school record in the 400 meter dash in 56.37 seconds, and then at the Yale Classic, she won the 500 meter run in 1:14.48.  Both times were ECAC qualifying marks in those two events.
 
Fagade had another record breaking performance at the Terrier Classic in Boston on January 30 where she placed second in the 800 meters in a school record time of 2:06.56, which is currently the tenth fastest time in the nation this year.  She also helped the 4x400 relay earn a fifth place finish in an ECAC qualifying time of 3:47.66.
