New Orleans, La. - The U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the 2014 Division I All-Academic Cross Country teams with a total of 405 men's and women's teams earning the distinction as a result of earning a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or higher.

The Atlantic 10 Conference was once again a leader among the conferences for the 2014 season with a total of 17 teams represented, which included Fordham's men's and women's teams.

Fordham was one of 163 schools nationally to have both its men's and women's team honored, joining fellow Atlantic 10 teams, Davidson, Dayton, George Mason, La Salle, Richmond, Saint Joseph's, and Saint Louis. The women's team from Rhode Island and the men's team from Massachusetts were also honored.

The Fordham men's team was one of 179 men's teams honored with a 3.38 GPA, while the women were one of 226 squads with a 3.32 GPA.
