Janos Loebe Named to the NSCAA All-Midwest Region Team

Kansas City, Mo. - Fordham freshman soccer player Janos Loebe (Kierspe, Germany) was one of 14 Atlantic 10 players to be named to the NSCAA All-Midwest Region team, garnering Second Team honors after an impressive freshman campaign.
 
Loebe is Fordham's first All-Region selection since Nathaniel Bekoe earned Third Team All-Mid-Atlantic honors in 2012, while being the fourth major honor for Loebe this season
 
Loebe, the 2015 Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year and First Team All-Atlantic 10 selection, became Fordham's first Atlantic 10 major award winner since Ryan Meara was named Defensive Player of the Year in 2011. 
 
Loebe led the Rams' in scoring with five goals and five assists for 15 points in his first campaign for the Rams.  He was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week twice this season, and served as Fordham's primary person on corner kicks.  Both he and Rashid Nuhu were also named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team, marking the fifth straight year that Fordham has had a player on the All-Rookie Team, and first time since 2008 with multiple selections.
