Men's IC4A University Division Championship ResultsÂ
The Fordham Cross Country teams each concluded their 2015 campaigns with fifth-place finishes at the ECAC/IC4A Cross Country Championship at local Van Cortlandt Park on Saturday morning. The men's team, two-time defending champions, finished fifth amongst 22 programs, while the women's team ran against 16 other schools.

The day began with the men's and women's coaches races. In the women's race, Columbia's Charlotte Pierce won individual honors with a time of 19:29.5 in the 6k. Fordham's
Kieran Hanrahan finished third with a 20:08.0 time and was followed seven other Rams:

Josephine Jacob-Dolan (17
th – 21:04.2),
Tara Cangialosi (19
th – 21:09.7),

For the men, just Jerome Vessechio ran the 8k among 35 total competitors and the freshman finished 16
th overall with a time of 28:39.6.

Next up was the Championship events for both the men and women, which were both won by Columbia with team scores of 28 and 38, respectively. James Madison's Carol Strock won ECAC individual honors among the women and was followed just one second later by teammate Kathleen Stewart. James Madison had a third runner finish seventh but the Lions placed five in the top-10 and all seven within the top-12 to take the team title.

For the men, Columbia's Jack Boyle took him the IC4A individual title with a time of 25:21.2. The Lions placed six among the top-10 and placed ahead of runner-up Saint Joseph's by 42 points.

The day finished with the University Division Championship events. First up was the women's ECAC University Division Championship, which was won by Marist with a team score of 80. St. John's' Isobel Batt-Doyle took home individual honors with a 18:03.3 finish.

For Fordham,
Brianna Tevnan led the pack with a 13
th-place finish and a time of 18:49.3. Following Tevnan was
Angelina Grebe (23
rd – 19:07.2),
Kate McCormack (26
th – 19:08.3),
Brynna Harum (28
th – 19:11.3), and
Stephanie Leo (39
th – 19:20.5). Also running for the Rams were
Shanna Heaney (54
th – 19:33.9), and
Brianne Roche (60
th – 19:43.4) among 163 total runners.

For the men, Canisius' Chad Maloy beat Northeastern's Nephat Maritim by eight seconds to take the individual title, but the Huskies took home team honors with 77 points (besting second-place Rutgers by 47) thanks to three runners finishing in the top-10.

Fordham's
Mike Turi, last year's individual winner, finished fourth overall with a time of 25:57.3. The senior was followed by

th – 26:12.9),
Jake Duckworth (29
th – 26:42.0), and
Adam Schwenzfeier (101
st – 27:59.7).

With the conclusion of the day's events, the Cross Country seasons come to a close. The Indoor Track & Field teams begin their seasons on December 4
