Preliminary ResultsDay two of the Bucknell Invitational in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania is in the books, and the Fordham swimming & diving teams had another big day in the pool, as the Rams remained in fourth place in the women's competition and eighth in the men's.

For the second straight day, the Rams had event winners and season-best times, while seeing one school record fall.

Junior
Megan Polaha led the way, as she broke her own school record in the 400 individual medley, winning the event in an NCAA "B" cut time of 4:18.91. Her previous record was 4:19.72. In addition to the school record, she was also sixth in the 100 butterfly in 55.49 seconds, while joining
Megan Gray,
Theresa Goehring, and
Kalena Laurent in the 800 freestyle relay which took sixth in 7:35.92.

Joining Polaha as an event winner on Saturday were seniors
Shannon Lulley and
Steve Sholdra. Like Polaha, Sholdra won the 400 individual medley in a season-best time of 3:54.64, while Lulley took first in the 100 butterfly event in an NCAA "B" cut time of 54.47 seconds.Â

Lulley and Sholdra were also a part of a scoring relay on Saturday. Lulley joined
Morgan Fairclough,
Gabrielle Celia, and
Chandler Lulley in the 200 medley relay to take third in a season-best time of 1:43.78, while Sholdra led off the 800 freestyle relay with
Chris Viera,
Liam Semple, and
Thomas Gillespie to place seventh in 6:52.77.

Aside from the trio of event winners, 18 other Rams scored for Fordham on day two. In the 400 individual medley,
Marie Feneron placed third in 4:25.74, while
Megan Gehrich (4:30.29) and
Jacqueline Dominger (4:31.19) were 13
th and 19
th respectively.

Gehrich also scored in the 100 breaststroke, taking 23
rd in 1:07.81, with Celia taking 11
th overall in a season-best time of 1:05.76.

Laurent scored in two events on day two, taking 13
th in the 100 butterfly in 56.60 seconds and 12
th in the 200 freestyle in a season-best time of 1:53.19.

Fordham also had two scorers in the 100 backstroke, as Fairclough was fourth in a season-best teim of 55.60 seconds, while
Chandler Lulley was 22
nd in 58.08 seconds.

In the final women's event, all four Fordham divers scored on the one-meter board, as
Wendy Espina-Esquivel placed third in the final with a score of 263.55, while
Natalie Wodniak was 15
th (180.65),
Krista White in 18
th (162.55) and
Kate McGrath in 21
st (134.10).

On the men's side,
Ethan D'Arcangelo scored 23
rd in the 400 individual medley in 4:14.25, while Rhett Karapolous and
Tommy Christensen were 13
th and 20
th respectively in 50.70 and 51.12 seconds.

The Rams also had a pair of swimmers score in the 100 backstroke, as
Isiah Magsino and
Miguel Mattox placed 13
th and 19
th, respectively in 51.52 and 51.99 seconds.
