The 2015 iteration of the Metropolitan Cross Country Championship was another banner day for the Fordham cross country teams as Jonathan Annelli and the men's squad successfully defended their Met individual and team titles, and the women's team, led by sophomore Stephanie Leo, claimed second place, behind four top-20 finishes, for the second year in a row.

Annelli cleared the field by eight seconds and finished with a time of 26:28.8. He was followed by Mike Turi (2nd – 26:36.5), Thomas Slattery (4th – 26:45.9), last year's winner Quincy O'Connor (8th – 26:56.6), Nik O'Brien (12th – 27:04.3), Louis Santelli (25th – 27:36.1), Adam Schwenzfeier (34th – 27:47.5), Jake Duckworth (50th – 28:29.9), Phil Robbins (56th – 28:40.5), Ryan McGann (65th – 28:52.5), Devin Rocks (70th – 29:05.6), Patrick Dineen (89th – 30:08.2), Michael Campbell (90th – 30:09.7), and Daniel Kheininson (93rd – 30:16.6). The Rams finished first with a total time of 2:13.52, three seconds above NYU, and an average time of 26:47, nearly 30 seconds better than second.

Leo's 19:31.2 finish earned her 10th place and she finished right beside freshman Kate McCormack (11th – 19:32.4), and Rachel Picard (13th – 19:36.0). The trio were followed by Brynna Harum (19th – 19:46.0), Brianne Roche (22nd – 19:50.9), Angelina Grebe (23rd – 19:51.9), Kieran Hanrahan (27th – 20:05.1), Maiya Larsen (55th – 21:06.1), Clare Bollnow (63rd – 21:17.9), Laurel Fisher (64th – 21:22.7), Tara Cangialosi (67th – 21:30.3), Josephine Jacob-Dolan (71st – 21:35.4), Blake Elwood (77th – 21:50.3), and Elizabeth Morisseau (85th – 22:27.8).

Leo, Picard, Harum, and Roche all improved upon their times from the Fordham Fiasco and both Leo and Picard also improved their final standings. Fordham was also the only program to finish with five top-25 runners.

Both teams now set their sights towards the Atlantic-10 Championships, held on Halloween, in Richmond, Va. Races are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
