Fordham Game Notes Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham University football Rams continue their 2015 season as they host the Lehigh University Mountain Hawks in a Patriot League matchup on Jack Coffey Field on Saturday, October 24, at 1:00 p.m.
The game will be streamed live by Campus Insiders with Matt Martucci (p-b-p) and Dan Conley (analyst) and can also be heard live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and on WFUVsports.org with Drew Casey (p-b-p), Kristian O'Hara (color) and Matt Moro (sidelines) handling the announcing chores.
#10/11 Fordham, the 2014 Patriot League champions, enters the game with a 6-1 overall record, 2-0 in the Patriot League, after a 47-41 overtime Patriot League win over Holy Cross on Jack Coffey Field last Saturday. Lehigh enters the game with a 3-3 overall record, 1-0 in the Patriot League, after a 21-10 league win at Bucknell on October 10.
This will be the 28th meeting between Fordham and Lehigh on the gridiron with the Mountain Hawks leading the all-time series, which started in 1923, 23-4. Fordham has taken the past two meetings, including a 48-27 win in Bethlehem last October 25 as
Chase Edmonds rushed 32 times for 197 yards and five touchdowns and
Kendall Pearcey added 103 rushing yards on seven carries while
Mike Nebrich completed 20 of 27 passes for 292 yards and one score.

The Fordham is one of four NCAA FCS teams to have two wins over an FBS opponent since 2013, joining North Dakota State, Bethune-Cookman and Portland State. The Rams are also one of six NCAA FCS teams to have a win over an NCAA FBS school in 2015.
The Rams have now been ranked in the top 25 for 36 straight weeks.
No New York area football team has won more games since 2012 than Fordham, who has amassed 35 victories over that stretch. The closest competitor is Rutgers, who has 26 wins over the past three-plus years while the NFL's Giants (who play more games in a season than the Rams) have 25 and the Jets 22.
Sophomore running back
Chase Edmonds is leading all of the NCAA Division I (FBS and FCS) in rushing touchdowns with 15 so far in 2015. He also second in the NCAA FCS in rushing yards with 1,046 so far in 2015, third among all NCAA Division I rushers (Leonard Fournette of LSU has 1,202 while Lamar's Kade Harrington has 1,115).

Jihaad Pretlow was named Corvias Patriot League Special Teams Player of the Week, while sophomore running back
Chase Edmonds was named the College Sports Madness Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week following last week's Holy Cross game. In a 47-41 overtime Patriot League win over Holy Cross on Jack Coffey Field last Saturday,
Jihaad Pretlow returned three kickoffs for 172 yards, including one for 87 yards and a touchdown that gave the Rams a 34-24 lead in the third quarter. Pretlow also notched three tackles and an interception that led to Fordham taking its first lead of the game at 20-17 in the second quarter. Edmonds rushed 29 times for 162 yards and four touchdowns in the win over Lehigh. He covered all 25 yards on the ground in the overtime period, including the winning touchdown from seven yards out.
