Lester Taylor Named A-10 Men's Track & Field Performer of the Week

Fordham senior Lester Taylor (Suffield, Conn) was named the Atlantic 10 Men's Indoor Track & Field Performer of the Week, it was announced on Tuesday.

At the Metro Team Challenge this past weekend, Taylor won the 1,000 meter event with a career-best time of 2:27.14.  It was the top time in the Atlantic 10 this season by nearly two seconds and qualified Taylor for the IC4A Championship last this season.

Taylor and the rest of the track & field team are back in action January 30-31 at the Terrier Classic in Boston, Massachusetts.
