In the first Atlantic 10 indoor track performer of the week awards for the new year, Fordham's
Titi Fagade (Rutland, Mass./Wachusett Regional) was named the conference Women's Co-Performer of the Week, along with Dayton's Aly Weeman. This is the third career weekly award for Fagade.
Fagade, a Rutland, Massachusetts native, ran twice over the holiday break. First at the BU Mini Meet on December 27th, she captured first place in the 400 meter dash in a school record and ECAC qualifying time of 56.37 seconds.
Then at the Yale Classic this past Saturday, Fagade won the 500 meter event with an ECAC qualifying time of 1:14.48. She also ran a leg of the 4x400 relay at the Yale Classic, where Fordham took fourth overall in 3:56.48.
Fagade and the rest of the Fordham indoor track &field team will next be in action on Friday, January 16
th at the NYC Gotham Cup, held at the Armory Track & Field Center.
