Christian Sengfelder has been named the inaugural Fordham Athletics Zipcar Performer of the Month.
For the month, Sengfelder averaged 14.0 ppg and 7.8 rpg. He scored in double figures four times in six games and grabbed double digit rebounds twice, including his first career double-double with 21 points and eleven rebounds in a win over Monmouth on December 10. Sengfelder shot 52.4 percent from the field (33-63) for the month, and added three steals and two blocks.
Sengfelder saved his best for last, scoring a season-high 22 points, shooting 9-for-13 from the floor, in a 74-54 win over South Carolina State in the Rose Hill Gym on December 31. He added seven rebounds, two steals and one block in the victory while also shooting 4-for-5 from the charity stripe.
