2014-15 Fordham Women's Basketball Schedule (.pdf)Bronx, N.Y. (September 22, 2014) – For the second straight year, Fordham University basketball fans will have plenty of opportunities to watch the Rams in action thanks to a partnership between Fordham and SNY it was announced today. SNY – the television home of the New York Mets and Jets – will broadcast seven Fordham men's games and two women's games in 2014-2015.
"We are excited to once again partner with SNY to showcase our basketball programs," said Fordham Director of Athletics Dave Roach. "We are pleased to be associated with a network that has such outstanding programming and we look forward continuing this partnership with SNY in the future."
The SNY television schedule starts on November 21 when the Fordham women's squad takes on Hofstra University in the historic Rose Hill Gym at 7:00 p.m. Two nights later, the Fordham men will make their first appearance on SNY when the Rams host the University of Massachusetts Lowell on November 23 at 6:00 p.m.
Other men's home games to be televised include contests with the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (Nov. 29), Siena (Dec. 1), Monmouth (Dec. 10), Howard (Dec. 28), South Carolina State (Dec. 31), and an Atlantic 10 matchup with Massachusetts (Feb. 4). In addition, the Rams annual Battle of the Bronx game with Manhattan College at the Barclays Center on December 22 will also be carried live by SNY.
The Fordham women, the defending Atlantic 10 champions, will also appear on SNY when they host St. Bonaventure University in an A-10 contest on February 5.

The SNY package brings the total number of Fordham men's televised basketball games to 17. These include two appearances on the NBC Sports Network (home games with Saint Louis on February 7 and Saint Joseph's on February 15), and two more on the CBS Sports Network (home contests with VCU on January 4 and George Washington on January 22). The Fordham games at Penn State on November 16 and at Maryland on November 20 will be televised on the Big 10 Network while the annual St. John's game at Madison Square Garden on December 14 will be carried on Fox Sports One and the Dayton game at home on January 10 will be broadcast on the Atlantic 10 Network. Additionally, the Fordham game at Rhode Island on January 7 will be carried on the Campus Insiders digital platform.
On the women's side, the Rams will have four other televised games, appearing three times on the CBS Sports Network, first when they host the University of Richmond for an A-10 game on January 4 and then for conference games with Saint Joseph's (home on Jan., 15) and Saint Louis (on the road on Jan. 24). The Fordham women will also appear on the NBC Sports Network when they travel to St. Bonaventure University for a conference contest on January 11.
