The Fordham University water polo squad had a busy day today with a pair of road games, first at Connecticut College, in New London, Conn., and then at Brown University, in Providence, R.I. The Rams split the two games, defeating Connecticut College, 13-9, and falling to Brown, 12-6.

With the split, Fordham is now 7-3 on the year.

In the team's opening game of the day, the Rams topped Connecticut College, 13-9.

Fordham led 3-1 after the first quarter and increased the lead to 6-3 at the half. The Rams maintained that three-goal lead through the third quarter at 9-6, and finished with a four-goal fourth period to win the game 13-9.

Ori Raz to the line-up as he,
R.J. Simmons, and
Ethan Vandeventer each scored twice.Â
Bobby Wurtz,
Andrew Gonzalez,
Davis DeFontes,
Patrick Reyes,
Cameron Shewchuck,
Landon Kern and Grant Kessling each netted one goal in the game to round out the scoring.

In net,
Noah LeBeau had six saves, two steals, and a penalty block.

The Rams then drove up to Providence where they fell to the Bears. Fordham trailed 8-3 at the break and couldn't mount a second half comeback.

Gonzalez and
Eric Minowitz each scored twice for the Rams while Wurtz and Reyes each found the back of the net once.

LeBeau made ten saves over the first three quarters while
Patrick Harrigan made one in the final quarter.

The Rams return to action on Thursday, September 25 as they travel to New Rochelle, N.Y., to face Iona College at 7:30 p.m.
