Bronx, N.Y. (December 19, 2014) – Several Fordham University student-athletes played Santa on Wednesday, paying a visit to the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY, to distribute gifts to the patients.

The visit was arranged by former Ram Dr. Joseph T. Boyer, FCRH '84, an attending in Pediatric Pulmonology, a former football Ram.

"The happiness and excitement that the Fordham student-athletes brought to the children is indescribable," said Dr. Boyer. "Some of the kids had a little shock and awe by the size of the football players but the student-athletes are role models. They bring out the best in the kids. When the kids see them, even if they are having a bad day, they get excited."
