Complete Results The Fordham swimming & diving team concluded their stay at the Bucknell Invitational on Sunday in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Fordham finished the three-day event in second place on the women's side, while Fordham moved up to sixth place in the men's competition.
With 1,097.5 points, the Rams finished behind only Bucknell's 1631 in the women's team competition, while the men's team's 568.5 points were able to sneak by Delaware's 519 points for sixth place overall.
The scoring started with the women's three-meter dive, as
Natalie Wodniak (20
th – 206.10),
Hailey Cox (23
rd – 203.95) and Regina Foley (24
th – 203.40) all netted points for the Fordham women.
Next was the 1650 freestyle as four women scored for Fordham, led by
Megan Zarriello in third place with a time of 17:02.42. The next Ram in was
Megan Gehrich in eighth place (17:26.86), followed by
Natalie Malicki in ninth (17:27.01) and
Miranda Morton in 22
nd (17:54.16).
In the men's 1650 freestyle,
Steve Sholdra was the lone Ram to score, placing third overall in a time of 15:28.79.
The next event was the 200 backstroke, where four women and two men made the finals.
Morgan Fairclough (2:00.28) and
Spencer Chappell (2:02.62) got things rolling in the "A" final, taking fifth and sixth respectively.
Theresa Goehring grabbed 12
th overall as a part of the "B" final in 2:03.86, while
Julia Day was 16
th in that same race (2:05.12).
On the men's side,
Miguel Mattox snagged 11
th place as a part of the "B" final of the 200 backstroke in 1:53.32, while
J.T. Klimko won the "C" final for 17
th overall in 1:52.81.
The Lulley sister then took center stage in the 100 freestyle, as
Chandler Lulley won the "A" final in 51.23 seconds, while
Shannon Lulley tied for second overall with a time of 51.35 seconds.
Megan Gray (14
th – 52.70) and
Erin McBride (19
th – 53.04) also scored in the "B" and "C" finals respectively.
In the men's 100 freestyle,
Joe Mercurio was the top finisher in 11
th in 46.89, while Pat Militti won the "C" final in 47.02 seconds.
Liam Semple (20
th – 47.65) also scored for Fordham.
The next event was the women's 200 breaststroke that saw three swimmers in the "B" final and one in the "C" final.
Kelly Carroll was the top finisher in tenth place (2:21.08) with
Anna Marshall (2:22.46) right behind her for 11
th in 2:22.46. Gehrich was the final scorer in the "B" final in 15
th place (2:25.38), while
Victoria McGovern rounded out all scorers in 18
th (2:24.35).
Zachary Jacobsen was the lone men's swimmer to make the 200 breaststroke final, taking 13
th in the "B" final in 2:08.77.
The Rams almost had their second individual event winner of the day, but
Megan Polaha (2
nd – 2:02.15) and
Kalena Laurent (3
rd – 2:04.36) were just touched out by Julianna Foss was first place. Fordham had three other scorers in the 200 butterfly, which included
Frances Warren (8
th – 2:08.11),
Aurelia O'Keefe (12
th – 2:07.82), and
Erin Gray (16
th – 2:10.55).
On the men's side, Fordham had their best showing with six finalists in the 200 butterfly, led by Sholdra in second place at 1:50.08, and Christopher Viera in third (1:52.30). Militti grabbed 11
th overall in the "B" final (1:54.44), and was joined by
Kevin Kosciuk in 13
th place (1:55.62).
Brandon Strong (19
th – 1:56.98) and
Tommy Christensen (23
rd – 1:58.53) rounded out the scorers.
The final event was the 400 freestyle relay, as the women's "A" squad of S. Lulley, Laurent, M. Gray, and C. Lulley was third in 3:28.23, while the men's "A" team of Semple, Militti, Sholdra, and Mercurio placed ninth in 3:09.05.

rd, as the Rams host Manhattan at 6:00 PM.
