ResultsOn a busy Friday night in the Bronx, the Fordham women's swimming team improved to 4-1 on the season with a 169-122 win over LIU-Post at the Col. Francis B. Messmore Aquatic Center.
The Rams won nine events on the night, led by the duo of
Shannon Lulley and
Erin McBride, as both won two events. Lulley won the 50-yard freestyle in 24.27 seconds and the 200-yard individual medley in 2:08.27, while McBride took home both distance events, winning the 500- (5:11.86) and 1000-yard (10:38.78) freestyle.
McBride was also a part of the winning 400 freestyle relay with
Kalena Laurent,
Megan Polaha, and
Chandler Lulley, as the group posted a time of 3:32.98.
Other individual winners included
Megan Zarriello in the 200-yard freestyle (1:55.29),
Morgan Fairclough in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:08.37),
Natalie Wodniak in the one-meter dive (212.40) and
Hailey Cox in the three-meter dive (217.05).
The Fordham women's swimming & diving team will next be in action on November 21-23 at the Bucknell Invitational.
