Bronx, N.Y. (November 14, 2014) -  The Fordham University football Rams close out their 2014 Patriot League season as they host the Georgetown University Hoyas on Jack Coffey Field on Friday, November 15, at 1:00 p.m.

The game will be broadcast live on the Patriot League Network powered by Campus Insiders with Ray Crawford (p-b-p), Doug Chapman (color) and Kristen Keith (sidelines) announcing. The game will also be heard live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and on WFUV.org with Mike Watts (p-b-p), Nick Logerfo (color) and Kelly Kultys (sideline) handling the announcing chores.

#7/8 Fordham, 9-1 overall, 5-0 in the Patriot League, enters the game after a 30-27 overtime Patriot League win at Bucknell last Saturday. Georgetown enters the game with a 2-7 overall record, 0-4 in the Patriot League, after a 27-19 Patriot League loss to Lehigh in Washington, D.C., on November 1.

A few notes on the game:

Joining captains Stephen Hodge, Dan Light and Ian Williams will be the Fordham seniors, serving as game captains

The scout team players of the week were announced following practice on Thursday: James Orfini (offense), Jonathan Dimon (defense) and Vincent Sansone (special teams)

The Rams will receive the 2014 Patriot League championship trophy following the game, Fordham's third league title (2002 and 2007)

This will be the 56th meeting between Fordham and Georgetown on the gridiron… The Rams lead the all-time series, which started in 1889, 32-20-3 (the two teams also met five times on the club level with Fordham winning three of the five contests)

Fordham won last year's matchup, 34-12, in Washington, D.C., on October 12 as Mike Nebrich completed 35 of 45 passes for 405 yards and one touchdown and Jordan Chapman returned an interception 29 yards for a score

Fordham freshman running back Chase Edmonds leads the NCAA FCS in rushing touchdowns (20), is second in all-purpose yards/game, averaging 186.7 yards/game, third in rushing yards (1,425) and sixth in rushing yards/game (142.5)

Fordham senior tight end Dan Light, defensive lineman DeAndre Slate and defensive back Ian Williams will all appear in their 47th straight game when the Rams host Georgetown on Saturday, setting a school record. Williams will also add to his school record as he will be appearing in his school-record 49th game (William played in two games as a freshman in 2010 before missing the rest of the season with an injury) while Light and Slate have appeared in every game for the Ram since stepping on campus in 2011.

Under head coach Joe Moorhead, the Rams have become very adept at protecting their home turf, winning 15 of the 16 home contests over the past two-plus years, all seven in 2013, including the NCAA FCS Championship win over Sacred Heart. The only home loss for Fordham under Moorhead was the season finale in 2012 when the Rams missed a two-point conversion in the closing seconds that would have sent the game with Colgate to overtime.

The Rams have won their past 12 games on Jack Coffey Field, tied with Coastal Carolina for the second longest active home winning streak in the NCAA FCS (North Dakota State has a 19-game home winning streak).
