Patriot League Release

Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham senior quarterback Tim DeMorat was named GEICO Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week when the League office announced honors on Monday.
 
DeMorat, the Patriot League Preseason Offensive Player of the Year, earns his second Player of the Week honor after completing 21 of 33 passes for 280 yards and four touchdowns. The scoring strikes covered 11, 4, 18, and 40 yards. It was DeMorat's second four-touchdown game of his career.
 
On the year, DeMorat has completed 81 of 151 passes for 1,005 yards and ten touchdowns. He leads the Patriot League, and is seventh in the NCAA FCS, in passing touchdowns and leads the league and is 15th in the nation in passing yards.
 
The Rams return to action on Saturday, October 2, as they open Patriot League play by traveling to Easton, Pa., to face the Lafayette College Leopards at 3:30 p.m.
