Complete ResultsCambridge, Mass. - Women's Rowing competed at the 51st Head of the Charles on October 17th and 18th, finishing 5th in both the Women's Club 8+ and Women's Lightweight 4+ events. The Head of the Charles Regatta is the largest international rowing competition in the world.
The Rams Women's Club 8+ entry finished 5th out of 38 entries in a time of 17:36.82. Brown University won the event with a time of 17:09.58. The lineup consisted of coxswain Jackie Ramos,
Maura O'Donnell,
Erin Parker,
Fiona Murtagh,
Ashley Hawkesworth,
Cynthia Luz, Jess LaJoie,
Caroline Hamann and
Kerry Egan. Fordham finished ahead of other A10 Conference Schools including UMass and George Mason.
In the Women's Lightweight 4+, the Rams placed 5th out of 15 entries in a time of 20:07.67. Ahead of the Rams were Riverside Boat Club, UMass, Radcliffe and Boston University. The lineup was made up of senior coxswain

Holly O'Reilly, Kat Napoli and
Bridget Kayes.
Fordham's third entry of the weekend was a Women's Club 4+ that included coxswain
Nicollette Curran,
Kara Ramsey,
Katie Dillon,
Jessica Kammen and
Kristen Shuman. Fordham has won this event for the past two years in 2013 and 2014. This year's crew placed 16th out of 63 entries in a time of 20:06.23.
In order to automatically qualify for the 2016 52nd Head of the Charles Regatta, crews must place among the top 50% of the entries in a given event. Fordham University placed in the top 1/3 in their respective events and secured their spots for the 2016 regatta.
The Rams will look to continue their fall racing calendar at the Head of the Schuykill Regatta on Saturday October 24th in Philadelphia, PA.
