A member of the original "Seven Blocks of Granite", Walter Tracey played guard on the Ram squad which finished the 1929 season undefeated with a 7-0-2 record, while outscoring its opponents 176-20. In his senior year, the Rams finished 8-1. Tracey along with Adam Elcewicz, John Conroy, Mike Miskinis, Tom Healy, All-Americans Frank Foley, Henry Wisinewski, and Tony Siano formed one of the most fearsome lines in the nation.
