Fordham University Athletics

One of the most iconic sports broadcasters in history, Vin Scully was Sports editor of The Ram and sports director of WFUV Radio.  He also lettered with the Fordham baseball team for two seasons.

One year after graduation, he joined the radio broadcasting team of the Brooklyn Dodgers. He also covered a variety of events for the CBS-TV Network and was voted National Sportscaster of the Year.

The Fordham Baseball press box at Houlihan Park is named in his honor.
