Mary Hayes, who graduated in 1979, held several Fordham Basketball records, including most assists in a game (17) and in a season (305 in 1977-78), and most steals (100 in 1977-78). As a freshman, she led her team in scoring with a 14.5 mark. As a junior and senior she served as team co-captain, helping her team to a 52-15 record during those two seasons.
