Darryl Brown ranks among the all-time outstanding players at Fordham. He was the Ram's ninth all-time leading scorer with 1,233 points and eighth top rebounder, Brown was the leading scorer in his junior and senior year and high rebounder for three seasons. Darryl's finest moment as a Ram came in one of Fordham's greatest basketball victories ever, an 83-66 win over fifth ranked USC. Brown's performance earned him Holiday Festival MVP honors. A fine defensive player, Darryl was known for his outstanding shot blocking ability and showed his overall prowess against such great players as John Shumate, Maurice Lucas, and Len Elmore.
